Ayan Mukerji’s much-awaited dream project Brahmastra is all set to release in theatres this month. It is a fantasy fiction film with a stellar cast and a whopping budget. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. It also has a special appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. According to the latest reports, the film is made with a budget of Rs 400 crore, thus making it one of the most expensive Hindi movies ever made. Each of the leading actors has also charged a big amount for their respective roles in the film. Check it out:

- Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor plays the lead role of Shiva in the film. The actor dedicated several years to this film and therefore, he also charged a huge amount for it. As per certain reports, Ranbir charged somewhat between Rs 20-25 crore for this adventure fantasy drama.

2. Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt is currently the most appreciated female actress in Bollywood. She has delivered some massive hits and is about to make her Hollywood debut soon. Alia plays Ranbir Kapoor’s love interest in the film. To play Isha in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, Alia has allegedly charged Rs 10 to Rs 12 crore.

3. Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh Bachchan plays a pivotal role in the upcoming film. He will be seen as a guiding force to the lead character. Big B has charged Rs 8-10 crore to play Guru in Brahmastra.
4. Nagarjuna Akkineni
South superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni plays an intriguing role in the film. While we loved his short glimpse in the trailer, not much is known about his character. Nagarjuna is said to have charged Rs 9-11 cr to feature in this mega-budget Hindi movie.
5. Mouni Roy
Television fame Mouni Roy plays an antagonist in Brahmastra. The actress who rose to fame with her TV serial Naagin is said to have charged Rs 3 crore for this film.
6. Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan will be seen making a cameo in Brahmastra. Though the makers have not yet revealed his look, the excitement amongst the fans is quite high. How much SRK charged for the cameo is not known yet.
Brahmastra will release in theatres on Sep 9.
