Deepika Padukone celebrated 13 years of Om Shanti Om in a very special way. The 2007 movie happens to be her debut movie.

The 2007 movie Om Shanti Om is to date one of the go-to movies for all the cinema buff. The light-hearted romantic movie filled with beautiful songs is a perfect recipe for any super hit movie. The film completed 13 years of its release yesterday and fans celebrated it on social media. Actress Deepika Padukone who made her debut in Bollywood with the movie also celebrated 13 years of Om Shanti Om.

Deepika Padukone changed her Instagram and Twitter names to Shantipriya to pay tribute to her character in the movie.

Apart from that she also changed her display picture to a still from the movie featuring her and Shah Rukh Khan.

The film helmed by Farah Khan was the highest-grossing film at the Box Office in 2007. Deepika and SRK’s acting in the movie was not only praised by the audience but also the critics.

It has been 13 years and Deepika Padukone has come a long way in her career.

DP has done some super hit films like Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, Cocktail, and many more. But indeed the debut movie always remains special for the artist.

Thus, the way Deepika Padukone celebrated 13 years of Om Shanti Om was also perfect and special.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone is gearing up for Shakun Batra’s upcoming venture. In the project, DP will share the screen space with Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. The shooting for the same was recently going on in Goa.

Speaking of the male lead in the movie, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, he is staying away from the limelight for a while. However, there are speculations that SRK and Deepika will once again reunite for Pathan.

The film will allegedly be made under the YRF banner and the director of the film is Siddharth Anand.

As of now, there has been no official announcement about the same. Yet, fans are waiting to see SRK and Deepika together on the big screen.
