Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta takes a dig at Kangana Ranaut as a fan of the actress accuses him of giving her a flop, here's what he said-

Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta is known for his straightforward remarks and comments. On Sunday, the filmmaker was seen praising Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Brahmastra as he mentioned that he couldn’t get a ticket for the night show, reacting to his tweet a user accused the filmmaker of giving Kangana a “flop film”. Here’s how Hansal Mehta reacted to the fans comment-

Hansal Mehta Takes A Jibe At Kangana Ranaut’s Fan

On Sunday Bollywood filmmaker Hansal Mehta became a target of Kangana’s fans after he praised Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahamstra. It all started after Hansal Mehta shared a tweet on his Twitter handle, that read, “I really enjoyed #Brahmastra. What I enjoyed, even more, is going to a cinema hall for a nearly 60-70% full morning show after failing to get tickets for last night’s shows. And long queues for the later shows at the same multiplex. The 2nd part is going to be HUGE.”

Reacting to his tweet a fan of the actress wrote, “Shame on you. You gave a flop film to Kangana.” While it seems the tweet of Kangana’s fan managed to grab the attention of the Bollywood filmmaker, Hansal Mehta further shared the tweet and gave a befitting reply to Kangana’s fan, he wrote, “Yeah. I shouldn’t have made Dhaakad.”

Hansal Mehta And Kangana Ranaut’s Sour Relationship

For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut and Hansal Mehta collaborated in 2017 for their film, Simran which was apparently a huge disaster at the box office. In a previous interview with Mashable India the filmmaker opened up about working with Kangana, he said, “She did not take over the edit, to be fair to her, but there was nothing to take over in the edit. We only had the material that she had shot. She is a very talented actor, she is a very good actor, really really good actor who, I feel has limited herself by making films about herself. You need not make all the characters become what you want to believe you are”.

Apparently, Kangana’s film Dhaakad was, unfortunately, a flop, the film was released along with Kartik Aaryan’s film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, while Kartik Aaryan’s film recorded a massive collection, Kangana’s film Dhaakad, on the other hand, was taken off from the theatres due to empty halls and theatres.
