Actor Govinda yesterday, accidentally shot himself on the knee, while leaving for his flight for Kolkata. As the actor continues to be kept under observation in ICU ward, wife Sunita Ahuja was snapped heading to the Criti Care hospital to check on her husband, earlier this morning. The actor’s wife interacted with the media giving a first-hand update on his howabouts after Govinda’s audio message shared yesterday.
Sunita Ahuja informed that he is in a stable condition now and will soon be shifted to the normal ward from the ICU ward. Probably within two days, the actor-politician will be discharged from the hospital, as informed by Sunita. She further assured the fans to not panic as he is doing better and thanked each fan for praying and extending so much support during his tough time. She mentioned, “Prayers all around the places are taking place, right from a temple to the dargahs, fans prayed for him everywhere“.

As she concluded, she smilingly assured that Govinda will be grooving once again in a few months, as she quoted, “Kuch mahine baad sir dance bhi karne lagenge.”
Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda, on Tuesday, accidentally shot himself on his knee while he was busy cleaning his licensed gun. The bullet struck his knee, after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital Criti Care, Mumbai. The incident took place at around 4.45 am in the morning. Hours later, Govinda shared his health update once he was out of danger, via an audio message where he thanked the doctors and fans who showered blessings and their support to him. Govinda was supposed to leave for Kolkata to attend an event on Tuesday morning, when the incident occured. The actor was reportedly alone in the room during that time.
