Everyone knows about the on-going feud between Krushna Abhishek and his uncle Bollywood actor Govinda. Recently, the matter was once again got into the limelight when Krushna remained absent on a television comedy show where his uncle Govinda made a special appearance. Indeed, the former’s absence drops a hint that things are allegedly not well between the uncle-nephew duo. Now, Govinda reacts to nephew Krushna Abhishek’s recent comments.
A couple of days ago the comedian expressed his displeasure at his uncle Govinda’s attitude. Govinda reacts to Krushna Abhishek’s comments by alleging them of being defamatory.
The Partner actor said, “I read the news on the front page of a leading daily about my nephew Krushna Abhishek not performing on a popular television show as I was invited as a guest there. He chose to opt-out as he had some reservations. Later, he went ahead and stated in the media about his belief in our relationship. This statement had defamatory comments and was issued with only a little thought. It had a snowball effect as it was voyeuristic in nature.” Voyeuristic? In what way. One can’t say.”
Furthermore, in the statement, Govinda also adds that not meeting Krushna’s twins is erroneously alleged. The Raja Babu actor revealed that he and his family went to the hospital to see the twins. He even mentioned that they met the doctor and nurse who were taking care of the babies.
Govinda further reveals that the nurse told him that the mother of the kids, Kashmera Shah didn’t want any of the family members to come and see the surrogate babies. The actor also adds that he did see the babies but from a long distance.
The actor returned home with a heavy heart as he wasn’t able to meet the twins. Govinda also placed emphasis that one is free to contact the doctor and the nurse to confirm the same.
In the press release, the 56-year old also mentions, “Krushna also came to our home with the kids and Aarti Singh, which he has forgotten to mention in the statement.”
The press release also reads, “Be it Krushna or Kashmera – I have been a scapegoat(target?) of their defamatory comments and statements against me frequently – most of them in the media and some in the shows and performances that they do. I do not understand why is this slander being done repetitively(sic.) and what is it that they are gaining from the same. My relationship with Krushna was very strong since the time he was a small child. My adulation(adoration?) for him was unparalleled and my family and people from the industry are a witness to the same. I strongly believe that washing dirty linen in public is an indication of insecurity and allows outsiders to take advantage of a family’s misunderstandings.”
Well, seems like Krushna’s statement didn’t go with uncle Govinda. However, the fans hope that uncle-nephew clear their differences and start entertaining together once again.
