Godhra Teaser Released, Netizens Call It Another “Propaganda” Film

"What a C Grade attempt," writes a Netizen as Godhra teaser gets released today.

The Godhra training burning incident is one of the most horrifying and controversial incidents in the history of modern India. In 2002, 59 Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya were killed in a fire inside Sabarmati Express near Godhra railway station in Gujarat. Shortly after the incident, riots erupted in Gujarat where the Muslim community was targeted. The cause of the fire in the train remains disputed and it is believed that the riots were created for political gains. Over a period of time, the Gujarat riots have been briefly projected in a few Bollywood films here and there. And now, a film titled Godhra is up for release which solely showcases the entire incident. Accident or Conspiracy- Godhra is directed by MK Shivaaksh and produced by BJ Purohit and Ram Kumar Pal.

After the teaser was released today, fans called it another “propaganda” film after The Kerala Story and The Kashmir Files.

A netizen called the teaser, “C Grade attempt!”
