We all loved watching the web-series ‘Scam 1992’ that came out last year. Hansal Mehta’s directorial starred talented actor Pratik Gandhi playing the role of Harshad Mehta, a stockbroker known for the 1992 Indian stock market scam.
Now, what if we tell you that director Hansal Mehta is soon coming up with the second season of your favourite web-series? Well, we are not kidding. The second season is tentatively called ‘Scam 2003: The Curious Case Of Abdul Karim Telgi’. It will portray the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, who earned a fortune by printing fake stamp paper.
It will show how he pulled off one of India’s most ingenious scams spread across multiple states. The scam value was alleged to be around a whopping Rs. 20,000 crores. The cast has not been announced yet. The show will go on floors by the end of the year and release in 2022 on SonyLIV.
