Amazon Prime Video has today released the much-awaited trailer of ‘Gehraiyaan’. It is a romantic drama film directed by Shakun Batra and stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa in leading roles.
The trailer begins with married couple Alisha (Deepika Padukone) and Karan (Dhairya Karwa) getting into petty household fights which indicates troubles in their marriage.
Tia (Ananya Panday) is Alisha’s cousin, who is engaged to Zain (Siddhant Chaturvedi). It is evident that something is off between them as well. When both the couples meet on a cruise, Alisha and Zain hit it off. A little flirt turns into a full-fledged affair. The trailer shows the complexity of modern-day relationships, the choices we make and their consequences. The trailer puts forth a bigger question that we deal with on a daily basis, “Are we just messed up people?”

Deepika and Siddhant’s steamy chemistry and layered performance definitely steal the show. But we must say, that Ananya too outshines in the trailer and shows that she has too much to offer as an actor.
Gehraiyaan is jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Jouska Films. It is scheduled to premiere on 11 February 2022 on Amazon Prime Video.
