The much-awaited trailer of film Jigra featuring Vedang Raina and Alia Bhatt was released on September 8, by the makers on youtube. The deep bond between a brother and sister was beautifully reflected in the actors’ performance. The two and a half minute trailer has taken the internet by storm. Not only fans but celebrities from multiple industries came forward to praise the Vasan Bala directorial.

Shraddha Kapoor Praises Alia Bhatt For Jigra
One unexpected thing that happened after Jigra’s trailer release was Shraddha Kapoor’s huge reaction to it. Like every other celebrity, the Stree 2 star also took to her instagram story to praise Dharma, Alia, Vedang and the team behind Jigra. But, to everybody’s surprise Shraddha’s words on her caption displayed a lot of love which was a step uniquely taken by her.
Shraddha’s caption read, “Ye toh theatre mei bhai ke saath dekhna hai. Kya kamaal ladki hai @aliabhatt. Kya amazing trailer @vasanbala” While Alia and director Vasan bala both thanked Shraddha Kapoor for her hearty wishes to the film, fans reacted on this weird step by her. Half the internet clan said that Shraddha’s PR team is the reason behind it, and some said it is weird to see Shraddha Kapoor praising Alia Bhatt’s film trailer, while Alia kept complete silence on her the blockbuster Stree 2’s success.

Jigra Director Apologises To The STREE 2 Actress
After Shradhha Kapoor’s reaction, director Vasan Bala came forward to publicly apologise to Shraddha Kapoor fans. Because fans wronged Vasan Bala’s cold approach towards Stree 2, he shared a story reposting Shraddha’s story and wrote, “Unrelated but I’ll take this opportunity to address -bsorry to your fans. Bhool Chuk Maaf”. This open message by Vasan Bala hints towards him being guilty of not talking about Stree 2 as much as he should have done during or after its release. No one from Jigra’s team took any chance to praise Shraddha’s iconic hit movie and Shraddha doing vice-versa has legitmately surprised everyone.

Jigra 2 will be in theatres on October 11. Earlier the film was supposed to be released in September itself, but avoiding the clash with Janhvi Kapor and Jr. NTR starrer film Devara: Part I, the makers decided to push the release date to October. Actor Vedang Raina who was supposed to be giving his second film in Bollywood, has also sung the theme song of the film -Phoolon Ka Taara. Fans are shocked and happy to see his singing prowess raising all the bars.
The young actor plays the role of a younger brother of Alia Bhatt who is jailed and being tortutred to the worst extent. Alia, being the most protective sister induces out her intense performance.
