Vikrant Massey is another actor who has his name from TV serials to movies. He has played prominent roles in Bollywood movies like Chhapaak, Haseen Dillruba, 14 Phere, A Death in the Gunj, and Ginny Weds Sunny. He climbed the stairs to success from short roles in Lootera, Dil Dhadakne Do, and Half Girlfriend. One thing in common is that he has always done positive roles but now it is speculated that he has accepted negative roles for his next project.
Coming from the era of television daily soaps like ‘Dharam Veer’ and ‘Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondho’, Vikrant traveled his journey to the OTT platform with shows like Broken But Beautiful, Mirzapur, and Love Hostel. While he gearing for his upcoming next release “Forensic” it is reported that the actor has bagged Dinesh Vijan’s project.
Allegedly, Chhapaak actor has been roped for Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Production untitled film. A source close to the film said: “A lot of producers have considered this subject for an on-screen adaptation, but the incident was too conflicted for them to bring it on the screen. It’s about the gruesome murders that took place in Nithari village of Noida.”
It is supposed to have an ensemble cast as the source added: “Apart from Vikrant, an interesting ensemble is been out in place. Acclaimed and seasoned actors will be on board the film and the names have been kept under wraps. The film will go on floors in the third quarter of this year.”
With this statement, it is guessed that the film will be based on the Nithari Killings and surprisingly, Vikrant will be essaying the character of a villain or say, antagonist. The untitled project is expected to go on floors this year. the source added.
Vikrant Massey is set to release the trailer of his upcoming project Forensic on 9th June. Forensic which also stars Radhika Apte in the lead is a Zee5 original. Radhika will play the role of a cop while Vikrant will be a Forensic officer, both together are on a mission to investigate a girl’s murder. The psychological thriller is slated to release on 24th June.
