FIR Against Kangana Ranaut’s Sister Rangoli During Lockdown

Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli has landed herself in serious controversy during the lockdown. Initially, her Twitter account was suspended for her hateful tweets after the Moradabad stone pelting incident and now an FIR has been registered against her. According to the reports, an advocate has filed a police complaint against her quoting that Rangoli had stooped too low now for cheap publicity stunt. He said that when the world is struggling to fight coronavirus, she is busy garnering cheap publicity for herself and taking undue advantage of the situation by posting hateful comments against one community. After Rangoli’s account was suspended, she issued a statement saying, “Twitter is an American platform absolutely biased and anti-India, you can make fun of Hindu Gods, call Prime Minister and Home Minister Terrorists but if you say anything about people pelting stones on health workers and police forces they suspend your account. I have no desire of empowering any such platforms with my perspective and honest opinions, so I am not reviving my account. I was my sister’s spokesperson. Now watch out for her direct interviews. She is a huge star. She has many ways of reaching out. A biased platform can be easily avoided.”
