After many controversies on the titles and characters in the movies, the filmmakers have reportedly decided to avoid using names from religious books. Read below to know more.

The titles and the names of the characters in the movie have been subject to controversies many times. At times the rage is so much that the filmmakers have no other option but to change the respective thing. The majority of the controversies and feuds happen because either the title of the movie or the name of the character in the movie is from religious books. So, to dodge more controversies in the future, the filmmakers are reportedly going to avoid using names from religious books for characters or the title of the movie.

Just a couple of days back, the makers of Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmii had to change the title. The previous title was Laxmmi Bomb which they renamed Laxmii, before the premiere of the movie. The film’s previous title faced a lot of backlash on social media platforms. Pertaining to which the makers changed the title.

Now, the recent filmmaker to change the title of the upcoming movie is G Ashok. The makers of the film starring Bhumi Pednekar had to change the title from Durgavati to Durgamati. The film bankrolled by Akshay Kumar is a horror film.

After facing the backlash earlier, Khiladi Kumar allegedly decided it is best to change the title of Bhumi Pednekar starrer. The decision is taken beforehand rather than waiting for the rage.

Apparently, not only Akshay Kumar but reportedly all the filmmakers are going to avoid using titles and names from religious books. It will be like a precautionary thing to avoid controversies in the future.

Speaking of Durgamati, the film also stars Arshad Warsi, Mahie Gill, and Karan Kapadia in pivotal roles. The film will be released on Amazon Prime on December 11, 2020.
