The upcoming sequel of Dostana starring Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, and newbie Lakshya is seen creating a lot of buzz ever since the cast has been announced. Karan Johar announced the cast of Dostana 2 a while back and fans just cannot keep calm. They are excitedly waiting for the sequel, given the fact that Dostana was hit amongst fans.
Just a few weeks back, the filming of Dostana 2 was commenced in the city of Chandigarh and Kartik Aaryan was also seen sharing a picture of the clapboard to his social media. In the picture, Kartik was also seen hiding behind the clapboard while he captioned the image as “#Dostana2 Begins !!!” Now it was reported that the next shoot destination was supposed to be Delhi, but new reports claim that the filming has been canceled due to the unhealthy climatic conditions in the national capital. Currently, Delhi is covered in smog and pollution and this climatic issue is affecting almost everyone.
The people belonging to the film fraternity, the cast, and crew of Dostana 2 are also affected by the same and the shoot has been called off. A source told an entertainment portal, “The cast and crew couldn’t breathe. Visibility was so low that the camera couldn’t capture the shots properly. It was a no-win situation. The team decided to disperse until the weather improves.”
Even Priyanka Chopra who was recently seen filming for her upcoming movie The White Tiger along with Rajkummar Rao shared about the hostile climatic conditions of the city on her social media.
