Farhan Akhtar is indeed an amazing actor and enjoys a massive fan following and now his fans have one more reason to adore their favorite star. Amid the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a shortage of supply of personal protection equipment (PPE) for the people fighting the virus on the frontlines, and Farhan has come to their rescue.
The Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara actor has stepped forward and has donated 1000 PPE kits to the frontline workers who are in danger of getting infected by the virus while treating it. He also urged people to do their bit in helping those who are in dire need.
Recently, the 46-year old actor inspired people to make donations and he expressed his gratitude towards people who helped make the donations possible. Farhan took to his social media handle to post the picture of PPE kits with the caption, “Thanks for your support you amazing people. Our first batch of PPE kits are on its way to Vakola Police Station from the factory. Please do contribute at http://tring.co.in/Farhan-Akhtar. Let’s protect our frontline warriors Smiling face with smiling eyes???????? Jai Hind. @MumbaiPolice @DevenBhartiIPS @TringIndia.”
We hope that Farhan’s noble gesture inspires other people as well and we remain united and fight the virus together.
On the work front, Farhan Akhtar was last seen in The Sky Is Pink alongside Priyanka Chopra. Up next, he will be in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Toofan.
