Bollywood has been witnessing a downward trend post-Covid. Several big-budget films starring the biggest of superstars have failed to perform at the box office and some even couldn’t manage to cover their production costs. From Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ to Ranveer Singh starrer ’83’ and Kangana Ranaut’s action film ‘Dhaakad’, most of the films have failed to impress the Indian audience. We have also been witnessing the trend of ‘Boycott’ every time a new Hindi film is up for release. The only two Hindi films that have succeeded at the box office this year are ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. And now, all eyes are on Ayan Mukerji’s much-awaited film. The Brahmastra trailer has finally been released this morning.
Brahmastra trailer features Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, who is a DJ by profession. Alia Bhatt plays his love interest in the film. Shiva is introduced as a man with special power as he can’t be destroyed by fire. Mouni Roy is seen in a deadly avatar as she plays an antagonist. Amitabh Bachchan appears to be a guiding force in the film while we wait to know more about Nagarjuna Akkineni’s character.

Brahmastra is a fantasy fiction film directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. It is slated for theatrical release on 9 September 2022.
