90s songs have a special place in our hearts. The era of 90s offered us some all-time classic songs and movies that we cherish and enjoy even after decades. It has also become the survival guide for Bollywood filmmakers these days. Remaking old classic songs and movies is their new formula to gain audience attention. The recent addition to this is the popular title song of Hindi film Main Khiladi Tu Anari.
Main Khiladi Tu Anari is an action comedy film released in 1994. Its title song features Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The original Main Khiladi song was sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Udit Narayan & Anu Malik.
The song has been remade after almost 30 years to incorporate in the upcoming Hindi film Selfiee. While Akshay features in the new version as well, Saif Ali Khan has been replaced by Emraan Hashmi. The female leads of the film- Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty can also be seen grooving in the video.

The good part is that the men behind the original song have created the new version as well. Main Khiladi new version is also sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Udit Narayan & Anu Malik. The music is given by Anu Malik and Tanishk Bagchi. The decision to bring the OGs together for the remake has probably worked out as the song is receiving good response from the audience.

In 2021, Akshay Kumar featured in the remake of his popular song Tip Tip Barsa Pani. Raveena Tandon was replaced by Katrina Kaif. The song was incorporated in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi and it was well received by the audience.
Talking about Akshay’s upcoming film, Selfiee is an action comedy film. It features Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha. It will release in theatres on 24 Feb.
