Falguni Pathak Finally Opens Up On Neha Kakkar Remixing Her Song, Says This

Bollywood singer Neha Kakkar recently faced criticism for remixing Falguni Pathak’s iconic track, Maine Payal Hai Chhankai. Not only the netizens but also the singer herself slammed Neha Kakkar for putting out a remix of her song, she even said that she wanted to sue Neha Kakkar for it. While in a recent interview, Falguni Pathak opened up on the controversy, here’s what she said-

Recently T-Series released the taeser of the latest remake of Falguni Pathak’s song Sajna by Neha Kakkar. However, just hours after the release the netizens began criticising the Bollywood singer for ruining the song by making the remix. The matter further escalated when Falguni Pathak, slammed Neha Kakkar saying that she wanted to take a legal action against the singer as well as the makers of the song.

While recently, talking about her social media take on Neha Kakkar’s remix Falguni Pathak told Hindustan Times, “What else could have I done? I could not take legal action.” She added, “I was overwhelmed to see so many people write on social media that they love my music, and they didn’t like this (Kakkar’s) version.”

Falguni stated that she wasn’t aware about the importance of music rights back then, she claimed that she would have restricted the makers if she knew about it sooner, “I wish I was aware back then. Jab khud pe guzarti hai tab pata chalta hai. I regret that I didn’t know about it then, otherwise I would have definitely done something about it,” 

Neha Kakkar Takes A Jibe An Indirect Falguni Pathak

On the other hand, Neha Kakkar also shared her reaction on receiving trolls and criticism for her new song. Neha recently took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “For those who’re s unhappy seeing me happy and successful, I feel sorry for them. Bechaare… Plz keep commenting. I won’t even delete them. Coz I know and everybody knows what Neha Kakkar is!”

She added, “If talking in such a manner, saying such bad things about me, abusing me.. makes them feel good and if they think it will ruin my day. Then I’m sorry to inform them that I’m too blessed to have bad days. This God’s child is always happy coz God himself is keeping me happy,”
