Excl: Pooja Bhatt Talks About Her Film ‘Chup’, Says “You Can Say A Lot Even If You’re Silent”

Bombay Begums actress Pooja Bhatt will soon be seen in R Balki’s film Chup: The Revenge Of The Artist. The film also stars Bollywood superstar Sunny Deol, Sita Ramam actor Dulquer Salmaan and Family Man actress Shreya Dhanwanthary. While in an exclusive chat with Lehren Pooja Bhatt talked about her film, Chup, and said, “You Can Say A Lot Even If You’re Silent”.

Bollywood veteran actress Pooja Bhatt will soon be making her comeback on the big screen with R Balki’s film Chup: The Revenge Of The Artist which will also star Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan, and Shreya Dhanwanthary alongside the Bombay Begums actress.

While in a recent conversation with Lehren, the Bombay Begums actress was asked to share a comment on her film title “Chup”. To this Pooja said, “You can say a lot even if you are silent”. She added, “Sometimes in some situations, your silence speaks more than your words, every situation doesn’t need a response but there are certain situations where you have to speak because you are not speaking for yourself you are speaking for the collective.”

She further added, “Somewhere along the line there are some people whose words say nothing and there are some people whose silence says more. You know bahaut bak bak….that becomes a soundbite society, their actions and their words don’t match, ‘maine bol diya na, maine tweet kar diya na’ what are you taking the boxes for? There are times when you don’t need to speak, but then there are times when you must speak, and you should let your heart decide the difference and sometimes it get’s you in trouble, but that’s the price for you life yaar. You don’t get guarantee for anything in life but when you look back in your life when you are dying, what would you rather say, ‘I stood for the truth, I stuck my neck out, I was true to myself, I stood for something’ or ‘I led a frightened life and stood for nothing’. She concluded saying, “Don’t use truth, don’t use your opinions as your weapon”.

Chup: Revenge of the Artist is one of the aspiring projects of the ace director R Balki. The release date of the psychological-romantic thriller was announced recently. The much-awaited edge-of-the-seat thriller will release on 23rd September 2022. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead roles. It marks the Bollywood return of south cinema superstar Dalquer to Hindi movies after The Zoya Factor. Sunny Deol and Pooja Bhatt will make a comeback to films after Blank and Sadak 2 respectively.
