After endless trolling and contributing to meme fests on the internet, Sushmita Sen finally broke her silence on the ongoing allegations that the actress has been facing for the past several days. It all started when entrepreneur Lalit Modi took to his Instagram handle to make his somewhat private love life with Sushmita public after he shared a post confirming the news. Many fans welcomed this, others were quick to judge the actress, and accused her of dating the business only for money calling her ‘gold digger’.
While Sushmita is not the one to be messed with, the actress took to herself to reply to the trolls as she shared a post on Instagram saying,
“Perfectly centred in my being & my conscience…I love how nature merges all it’s creation to experience oneness…and just how divided we are when we break that balance.
It’s heartbreaking to see just how miserable & unhappy the world around us is becoming….
The so-called intellectuals with their idiosyncrasies….the ignorant with their cheap & at times funny gossip. The friends I never had & the acquaintances I’ve never met….all sharing their grand opinions & deep knowledge of my life & character…monetising the ‘Gold Digger’ all the way!!! Ah, these geniuses!!!”
She continued, “I dig deeper than Gold…and I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!! And yes I still buy them myself!!!
I love the all-heart support my well-wishers & loved ones continue to extend. Please know, that your Sush is ABSOLUTELY fine.. cause I’ve never lived on the transient borrowed light of approval & applause. I am the Sun….perfectly Centred in my being & my conscience!!

Soon after this, director Vikram Bhatt, who was once known to have been involved in an extramarital affair with Sushmita, shared his views on her dating, Lalit Modi, saying Sushmita is least interested in digging gold! “Sushmita is not a gold digger, but a love digger. For people, making fun of other people’s lives is entertainment. It’s always been the case with stars, any decision any star takes in his life is a laughing stock for people” he said.

He even shared his past relationship with Sushmita saying, “Sushmita would be the last person to check someone’s bank balance before falling in love. At one time I had no money and was directing the film ‘Ghulam’ at that time. Sushmita was the first person to take me to America. Not only this, but she also paid my entire expenses.”
