Ajay Devgn and Tabu are reuniting for the sequel of their suspense thriller ‘Drishyam’. Hindi film ‘Drishyam’ is the remake of the 2013 Malayalam-language film of the same name. And after the regional film Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal recently got released, Bollywood too jumped onto the opportunity to remake the sequel too. Drishyam 2 Release Date:
The original Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal and Meena was released directly through the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on 19 February 2021. And this year, the Bollywood version of Drishyam 2 is all set to release. Ajay Devgn recently took to his social media to announce the release date of Drishyam 2. He revealed that Drishyam 2 will release in theatres on 18th November 2022.
Drishyam 2 Cast:
Drishyam 2 will have the entire cast from the prequel. It includes Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor reprising their respective roles. The new addition is talented actor Akshaye Khanna.
Other Details:
Drishyam (2015 film) was directed by Nishikant Kamat, but after his death in August 2020, Drishyam 2 will be directed by producer Kumar Mangat Pathak’s son, Abhishek Pathak. The shooting of the film was wrapped on 21 June 2022 in Hyderabad. Drishyam 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar.
In the prequel, we saw Ajay Devgn’s character trying to protect his daughter from the hands of the law. The struggle is expected to continue in Drishyam 2.
