Drishyam 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Film Inches Closer To 100cr Mark

Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 is inching closer to the 100cr mark with its domestic box office collection.

Drishyam 2 Box Office Collection: Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna starrer Drishyam 2 hit the theatres on 18th November. Abhishek Pathak’s directorial opened up to a positive response from the audience. Drishyam 2 also got the second biggest openings this year. Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, it is now believed that the film is now inching closer to the 100cr mark with its domestic box office collection. Drishyam 2 took a bumper opening at the box office. Ajay Devgn starrer earned a total of approx Rs 15.38 on its opening day. Abhishek Directorial film’s opening day earnings even surpassed Kartik Aaryan’s film Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s 2 first day earnings.

The film took a massive jump during the weekend earning a total of 21.59cr on Saturday and 27.17cr on Sunday. Meanwhile, as per a Saclink report, the film earned a total of 10.65cr on Tuesday. Drishyam 2 now stands on a domestic total of Rs.86.66cr. The film has already crossed the 100cr mark with its worldwide collection. Drishyam 2 collected more than 20cr from its international and overseas collections.

Abhishek Pathak’s directorial Drishyam 2 starring Ajay Devgn alongside actress Tabu and actor Akshaye Khanna is now out in the theatres. The much-anticipated crime-thriller sequel picks up the story of Vijay Salgaonkar (played by Ajay Devgn) who killed the son of cop Meera Deshmukh (Tabu), but due to lack of evidence, Vijay is let off the allegations. However, in the sequel, Tabu will be seen teaming up with Akshaye Khanna to dig up the evidence against Vijay and take revenge for her son’s murder.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak Drishyam 2 is a crime thriller film that stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna as the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Neha Joshi, Kamlesh Sawant, and Yogesh Soman in pivotal roles. The film is a sequel to 2015 released Drishyam, which was a Hindi remake of a Malayalam film of the same name.
