Ananya Panday To Star With Ayushmann Khurrana In Dream Girl 2
On Friday, Liger actress Ananya Panday shared the teaser of her upcoming film, Dream Girl 2. Sharing the teaser Ananya wrote, “Aapki Dream Girl Phir se aa rahi hai, miliye Pooja se 29th June 2023 ki Eid par”.
The short teaser of the film pokes fun at the ongoing cancel culture aka the boycott trend, a voice in the teaser says “Bollywood ko nazar lag gyi hai.” (Bollywood has got evil’s eye). Soon after which Aayushmann reacts to the same and says that he has now came to Mathura to do a “Pooja”, he further announces the release date of his film, and says that his Pooja will come to the screens on EID in 2023 with Ananya Panday.
For the unversed, the prequel of the film starred Nushrratt Bharuccha as the female lead, meanwhile, for the upcoming sequel, the female lead will be now played by Liger actress Ananya Panday. Apart from Ayushmann and Ananya, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, and Rajpal Yadav will also be seen in key roles in the sequel.
Reacting to the short teaser many fans shared their reactions a user wrote, “SUPERB STARCAST”, another user wrote, “Super hit hogi movie”, while taking a dig at Ananya a user commented, “Who roped you in”, recalling Nushratt’s role a user wrote, “But Nusrat acting was amazing in first movie”.

Raaj Shaandilyaa’s directorial Dream Girl was released in the year 2019. The film starred Ayushmann Khurrana with Nushrratt Bharuccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Annu Kapoor, and Vijay Razz, among many others. While in the 2023 sequel, Paresh Rawal, Seema Pahwa, Rajpal Yadav, and Fukrey actor Manjot️ Singh will be seen making their appearance as well. The sequel of the romantic-comedy film Dream girl is expected to release next year on 29th June which also marks the festivities of EID.
