Double Xl Twitter Review: Satram Ramani’s directorial Double XL starring Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi is now out in the theatres. The film was released alongside the horror-comedy film Phone Bhoot and the survival-thriller film Mili. While both Mili and Phone Bhoot opened up to positive reviews, Double XL on the other hand failed to impress the audience. Here’s how Twitter reacted to Double XL-

Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi starrer Double XL is a comedy-drama film that talks about subjects like obsession with body weight and female body image issues. Both Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi are the leading ladies in the film who puts light on social issues like body weight. The movie features the story of two plus-size women Rajshree Trivedi from Meerut and Saira Khanna from New Delhi as they navigate society’s beauty standards.
The comedy-drama was released alongside Katrina Kaif starrer Phone Bhoot and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mili. While both “Phone Bhoot” and “Mili” have successfully managed to impress the Twitterati, Double XL on the other hand has failed to do so. The early viewers of the movie shared their reactions on Twitter calling the movie “disappointing”.
A user tweeted, “#DoubleXL a poor excecution on a sensible topic which pivots mainly away from the straight forward matter of the movie, this movie was rejected by the otts intially because of this in my opinion a aimless screenplay overall is a big let down for the movie as a whole”.
Taking a brutal dig at actress Sonakshi Sinha a user wrote, “#SonakshiSinha Kisi Zamnay main Masses ki Top Heroine Hua Karti thi ! But sad Her Career is Over now ! Koi movie ni mil rahi & she is doing C Grade movies in Majboori! #DoubleXL !”
