Doctor G Box Office Collection: Anubhuti Kashyap’s comedy-drama film Doctor G was released in the theatres on 14th October. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Shefali Shah, and Rakul Preet in the lead roles. Despite opening up to positive reviews the comedy-drama started off slow at the box office. Despite opening up to positive reviews, Ayushmann Khurrana’s film started off slow at the box office, the film earned a total of ₹3-3.25 crore on its opening day. However, the film saw a growth of 20-30 percent during its first weekend. While Monday witnessed a slow business for the film.
The film further recorded a huge drop on Monday and earned somewhere between 1.50-1.75 crores. While on Tuesday the film collected a total of 1.65 crores. As per a Sacnilk report, the film earned a total of 1.57cr on Wednesday and 1.11cr on Thursday. The net gross domestic collections of the film now stand at a total of 24.50cr. While the overseas collection stands on a total of 8cr.

Ayushmann Khurrana who last appeared in the action thriller Anek will be seen essaying the role of a medical student in the comedy-drama film. While Doctor G is struggling to maintain pace at the box office, Rishab Shetty’s film Kantara has been ruling the theatres since its release. Kantara’s collections have directly-indirectly affected the box office performance of Ayushmann Khurrana’s film. While it is expected that the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer might just end up its lifetime collection with a total of 35-40cr only.
