Director Vikram Bhatt Starts Shoot For His Next Thriller Webseries

Known for giving us the best Indian horror and thriller films with cinematic masterpieces like Raaz (2002), Raaz 3 (2012), 1920 (2008), 1920 Evil Returns (2012), Ankur Arora Murder Case (2013) and so on, ace and prolific film director Vikram Bhatt starts shoot for his next thriller webseries.

The director is not just limited himself to films, but also is known for creating classic horror themed webseries in the currently booming digital OTT space as well with digital series like Gehraiyaan (2017 Viu India), Twisted (2017), Twisted 2 (2018), Maaya (2017), Ghost (2019 digital film), Hacked (2020) and so on and now the latest update in the same is that director Vikram Bhatt starts shoot for his next thriller webseries.

Also termed as the master of thriller and Indian horror genre stellar director Vikram Bhatt starts shoot for his next thriller webseries. The thriller genre series titled as “Dirty Games”, has an ensemble star cast of actress Sandeepa Dhar and Omkar Kapoor in leading roles. The filming and shooting schedule of the series will start on 27th October 2020 in Mumbai.

It is going to be an eight episodic series which is going to be extensively shot in all over Mumbai where all the strict protocols and necessary precautions will be followed religiously by the cast and filming crew keeping in mind the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic in India.

Vikram Bhatt is a well renowned filmmaker and director who is ruling and dominating the digital OTT webspace by delivering some of the most loved and promising web series. In his filmography career in Bollywood, he has also delivered timeless and evergreen super hit horror films like 1920, 1921 and Raaz Reboot. 

In the time of coronavirus global wide pandemic, OTT has become the main primary link for the audiences and today’s youth that loves watching fresh and good content where Loneranger is one of the leading production houses that is number one in this game.

During a recent interview, when the noted film maker was asked about his entire experience of creating content for OTT platform, he said, “I was probably the first one to start serious fiction on the Net. Maaya and Twisted are in their fourth season now and that makes me really happy. However, in these years the OTT game has changed and both the content and the competition is much more fierce. Showbiz is like a game of cricket. You need to get out there and play a scintillating knock every once in a while. Here is to another scintillating knock, knock on wood!”

The story of Dirty games probably revolves around a psychiatrist who gets caught in the middle of a murder. The series has been written and directed by Vikram Bhatt, produced by Krishna Bhatt under the banner of Loneranger Productions.

Apart from Sandeepa and Omkar the series also stars Khaled Siddiqui, Samay Thakkar, Vyas Hemang, Trishaan Singh Maini, Tanvi Thakkar, Coral Bhamra, Ashwin Kaushal and Prakash Jha.
This intriguing web thriller series is all set to release on MX player OTT platform streaming service.
