However, in a recent discussion about his film, Raaj said there is no truth behind taking any inspiration from the film Sex Tape. The film is completely Raaj’s idea and is in no way similar to the 2014 Hollywood movie. He quoted it further as, ‘There’s no sex in our film’. He also said that when people first asked him if he has watched Sex Tape or has grasped inspiration from the same, he wondered that his film had no sex scenes then why are people relating it to the Hollywood film.
Shaandilya found himself unaware of the exact plotline of the Hollywood release, after which he realised he is offering a lively entertainer to the audience with the promise of the entire movie being a ‘pure-family fun drama’. As the trailer says, it is a 97% family-drama friendly, the director recently recalled in an interaction with Bollywood Hungama that there is a ‘bed-scene’ in the film, which is still family-friendly. The actor Rajkumaro Rao himself called it a ‘good scene’ with no adult marks.
