Digangana Suryavanshi- Yoga Helps Me Stay Composed & At Peace!

Actress Digangana Suryavanshi who’s known for her roles in films like Jalebi and FryDay opens up about her love for Yoga, and how it helps her stay calm and composed during stressful times.
The actress then goes onto compare Yoga, a traditional form of exercise with the modern one, weight training. She says, “Working out was a phenomenon that never existed in my life until I was eighteen or nineteen. I would just be cycling, go running, or play a sport. But eventually, I did start with weight training, functional training, crunches, squats, etc. Now although my father has always been inclined towards Yoga, and advised me to take it up, I never really followed Yoga. Until this one day, I suffered from a miniscule tear in my knee due to weight training. After that, I did have to practice Yoga because lifting weights was not advisable. I then started enjoying it. So, compared to lifting weights, Yoga is the least dangerous form of exercise”.
She further adds, “I ensure I do Yoga at least twice a week. Yoga doesn’t just keep one physically fit but also mentally fit. Yoga helps me stay composed and be absolutely at peace. Yoga really focuses on replenishing how your body functions on the inside and not just how it looks on the outside”.
Digangana is currently in her Mumbai home waiting to resume her shoot for her Telugu film, Seetimarr, and her Bollywood film The Battle of Bhima Koregaon where she will be seen playing the lead role alongside Arjun Rampal.
