Karan Johar’s Guests Tested COVID Positive
Karan Johar’s 50th birthday anniversary witnessed a major star-studded affair as celebrities across the industry gathered together for the filmmaker’s birthday bash making it no less than a Bollywood met gala. While now his birthday party has been grabbing headlines as 40-50 people from his party have tested positive for COVID-19. According to the recent reports, a source revealed “Several of Karan’s close friends from the Bollywood film industry are Covid-infected after the party, although they not revealing that they’ve tested positive. In fact, Kartik Aaryan who was not at Karan Johar’s party tested positive for Covid, he got the virus from one of his heroines who were there at the party and with whom Kartik was promoting his film,”.
Souces Denies Rumors
While recently, according to the reports, a source close to the filmmaker has denied all the rumors regarding the spread. The source told IndiaToday.in, that the filmmaker is currently shooting for Koffee With Karan and undergoing the mandatory RTPCR test. All protocols on the sets are being followed. The guests too are part of the process. The reports of almost 50 guests present at the party testing positive are bizarre. The party was held almost 10 days back and it is only now that Aditya Roy Kapur has confirmed testing Covid 19 positive.
While the Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor Kartik Aaryan was also getting linked with the spread as he recently tested positive for Covid as he announced the news on 4 June, however, the actor didn’t attend the birthday bash of the filmmaker. Apart from Kartik, Vicky Kaushal who attended the party with his wife Katrina Kaif has also tested positive.
