Actor Dia Mirza is living the best time of her life these days. Last week, she announced the birth of her child on Instagram. She told that her baby boy was born on May 14 and is currently being cared for in a Neonatal ICU as he was born prematurely. Meanwhile, she is spending quality time with her new family including her stepdaughter Samaira.
Dia posted an Instagram reel with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi’s daughter, Samaira. They both can be seen dancing to a fun English song with perfectly choreographed steps but Samaira ends up tripping and falling at the end. Dia wrote in the caption, “Sunday Shenanigans with #MyBestie #SundayFunday.”
Dia and Samaira share a healthy bond. Samaira was a part of Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi’s wedding ceremony that took place earlier this year. Dia and Vaibhav even took Samaira along with them on their honeymoon to the Maldives.

Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi got married in an intimate wedding ceremony on 15 Feb this year. The actress announced her pregnancy a few weeks later. Their son Avyaan was born prematurely and via and emergency C-section. Dia told in her Instagram post, “Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU.”
