Veteran actor Dharmendra has shared a video of the first-ever car he bought after working hard in the Bollywood industry. He bought it several decades ago at Rs 18,000. However, during that time, Rs 18,000 was of a much larger value than it is today.
In the video shared by the actor on his Twitter handle, he can be heard saying, “Hi friends, my first car. I bought it for ₹18,000 only. In those days, ₹18,000 was a great thing. I have kept it nicely. Looks good? Pray for it, it should always be with me.”
He wrote in the caption, “Friends, Fiat, my first car, my beloved baby… Very close to my heart. His great blessings in the life of a struggler.”
Raveena Tandon was amazed to see this video, who tweeted, “This is so amazing… just shows the pure heart and emotional attachments.”
This car is very close to the veteran actor’s heart. And that’s the reason he has kept it with himself even after decades. Dharmendra had once said in an interview, “I’ve been emotional enough to keep my first car, a Fiat… because of the fear that if I have nothing someday, I can convert it into a taxi!”
