Dharmendra Reacts To His Hospitalization Reports, Asks Fans To Not Believe Rumours

Veteran actor Dharmendra rebutted rumours about his health condition stating that he is fine

Reports emerged that Dharmendra was hospitalized due to ill health. Hours later the veteran actor rebutted rumours about his health condition stating that he is fine. It was reported that the legendary actor has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital as he wasn’t keeping well and that the condition is critical. However, Dharmendra who is doing good in his Mumbai house asked to think positively and not believe ill-fated rumours.

The Sholay actor recorded a 42 seconds video to aware his fans and followers of his health condition. He took to social media clarifying about his well-being by uploading a video. The 86-year-old actor stated he has been num on the speculations surrounding his well-being but assured that he is not ill. He also sang a song from his movie 1969 hit film “Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke” raising positivity among his followers.

Dharmendra recorded saying, “Hello friends, be positive, think positive, life will be positive. Main chup hoon, bimaar nahi (I’m keeping quiet, I’m not unwell). Anyway, kuch na kuch baat chalti rehti hai, hawa udti rehti hai (rumours keep taking place). Woh tha na mera gaana (This song of mine), ‘Bura Mat Suno Bura Mat Dekho Bura Mat Kaho’. Take care, love each other, be good to each other. Okay? Life will be beautiful.” He captioned the post, “Friends, with love to you all.”

It is true that 70s – 80s hero Dharmendra was hospitalised last month for back pain but this time he is fit and fine at home. Earlier in the day, his actor sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol also dismissed speculated stories about their dad’s poor health conditions. 

Sunny Deol told PTI: “My dad is absolutely great and in the best of health. He is doing well.” His younger brother Bobby Deol, who is trending for his popular and most loved web series Aashram, also commented on the subject. Bobby added: “sad that people spread rumours. He (my father) is in Mumbai and he is absolutely fine.”

In May, Dharmendra was hospitalized in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for back pain due to a muscle pull. Back then he agreed that he had to be admitted and go through medication because of his own mistake. He shared a video alerting fans saying, “Friends, don’t overdo things… Know your limits; I’ve done it and learned my lesson.”

In his notable career, he has given some classics such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Satyakam, Seeta Aur Geeta’ and many more. He will be next seen in Karan Johar’s “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” alongside Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh.
