Originally the actor was in Goa shooting for her next upcoming film, which is being directed by Shakun Batra and also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in key important roles and is going to be a romantic love story revolving around the trio in the film which is being produced and bankrolled by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions banner.

But then she had to come back to Mumbai immediately as she was officially summoned by the NCB due to her name popping up in the ongoing bollywood drugs nexus probe related to the late actor Sushant’s death case investigation.

Now the latest news updates say that after all grabbing all the headlines in the case, Deepika is all set and ready to resume shooting for the film in Goa and also while she was away, the parts with Siddhant and Ananya were being shot for the film.

Deepika has very constantly been in the news ever since she was summoned by the NCB in the ongoing Bollywood drugs angle probe, which is mainly linked to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. She was summoned along with the B Town and South Industry A Lister actors like Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh.

A leading newspaper publication report says that now the actor will resume the shooting of the Shakun Batra directorial venture in Goa.

While she was literally questioned along with being grilled for quite a huge number of hours by the NCB for her alleged connection in the drugs angle probe based on the digital evidences of Whatsapp Chats that they had collected from her KWAN manager Karishma Prakash ultimately she ended up agreeing to having done the drug chats with her manager but refused to divulge more information any further.

Also the floating news reports which predicted that she will be getting a clean chit in this case as all the charges would be removed from her name is totally false and not true at all as the NCB themselves put an end to these blasphemous rumors saying that there is no truth to these grapevine rumors.
