Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are preparing to welcome their first child. The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, shared their pregnancy news in February through a heartwarming Instagram post. As the actress is nearing her delivery, many reports have confirmed that the Kalki star will deliver her first baby in September, while the baby’s birth will coincide with Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday.
Deepika Padukone’s Baby To Share Birthdate With Ranbir Kapoor?
According to a recent report by News18 Showsha, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are eagerly preparing for the arrival of their baby and are busy setting up their home for the little one. A close source has also hinted that Deepika might deliver her baby on September 28, 2024, at a hospital in South Bombay. In the meantime, she is taking the opportunity to relax and enjoy her break.
The source revealed, “Deepika and Ranveer are eagerly waiting for the upcoming chapter of their lives and are busy setting up a space for their baby. If things go as per plans, she will deliver the baby on September 28 at a hospital in South Bombay. At present, the soon-to-be mother is enjoying every bit of the break that she has taken from work.”
The source also shared that Deepika Padukone plans to take a few months off to care for her child before resuming work in March 2025. According to the report, she is expected to begin shooting the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD once she returns from her break.
The source added, “Her maternity leave will last till March of next year. And after that, she’ll immediately get busy with filming the sequel of Kalki along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas”.
If reports are true then Deepika and Ranveer’s first child will likely share his/her birthdate with Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor.
