Deepika Padukone’s Current Brand Value Will Leave You Shocked

Deepika Padukone has witnessed a massive change in her brand value in the last one year. Her current brand value will leave you shocked.

Surpassing every Bollywood celeb, cricketer Virat Kohli has the highest brand value in India. In 2020, his brand value was reported to be $237.7 million. He is followed by Akshay Kumar with $118.9 million as his brand value.

Deepika Padukone is the highest-paid actress in Bollywood. She not only earns her income via films but several brand endorsements. In 2019, Deepika Padukone was on number 3 along with her husband Ranveer Singh. Deepika’s brand value was $93.5 million. However, the year 2020 turned out to be a disaster for her as her brand value dropped by nearly 50%. From v$93.5 million, her brand value has now dropped to $50.4 million.

These are the figures from Duff & Phelps Brand Value Report.  Deepika’s value fell after her film Chhappak flopped at the box office. Her controversy around JNU and drug investigation also contributed to her fall.

Meanwhile, her husband Ranveer’s brand value has increased from $93.5 million to $102.9 million.
