Recently, the actor came forward to call out the chairman of one of the biggest corporate industry L&T, for holding an unfortunate work-culture. The Cocktail actress took to her social media to slam the senior executive, and thereafter the people defending their chairman’s move to work 7-days-a-week.

Deepika Padukone Calls Out L&T Chairman

In case you don’t know, Chairman of L&T expressed that he regrets that he is not able to make employees work on Sundays. In a video going viral on Reddit, the man is heard saying “What do you do sitting at home? How long can you stare at your wife? Come on. get to the office and start working.” These lines from the chairman came out as severe shock to all, including bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. She took to share the news piece posted on the platform and expressed her views on it. Deepika writes, “Shocking to see people in such senior positions make such statements. #mentalhealthmatters”. Like every citizen, Deepika too felt the need of the hour to speak against his thought-process on work-life balance.

Later as the company on behalf of its CMD, defended stating that exraordinary outcomes require extraordinary output. To this again, she shared the news piece and wrote, that they just made it worse, meaning that this attempt to whitewash the CMD’s comments on working seven days a week by justifying it looks even bad.

Apart from Deepika Padukone, netizens including the employees of the industry also reacted on the brutality of S.N. Subrmaniyam, the chairman.
