Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan Reach Mumbai After Receiving Summons In Drug Case

Deepika Padukone along with her husband Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan with her mom Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim left from Goa and reached Mumbai after receiving a summon from NCB.

Actors Sara Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, who were in Goa, have reached Mumbai after receiving summons from the NCB.

Deepika was in Goa shooting for a new film directed by Shakun Batra. She left from her hotel on Thursday, and took a charter plane from Goa to reach Mumbai. She was accompanied by hubby Ranveer Singh.

Sara Ali Khan was in Goa with her mother Amrita Singh and brother Ibrahim Ali Khan for a relaxed vacation. They all flew down to Mumbai as Sara will be questioned by NCB on September 26.

Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have also received summons from the investigating agencies.

While it was reported that their names were implicated by actor Rhea Chakraborty, her lawyer Satish Maneshinde has refuted such claims.

He told a news agency, “Rhea Chakraborty has not named anybody in her statement. If NCB or anybody is making a statement that she has leaked, it’s totally false. There is no thread of evidence that suggests that Rhea Chakraborty has named anybody apart from what Sushant Singh Rajput had consumed all his life when she was with him.”

So far, NCB has arrested 16 people in the case. This includes Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda, domestic help Dipesh Sawant and a few drug peddlers.
