For a long time, fans waited for the details of Shakun Batra’s untitled film starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday. And today, the wait is finally over as the actors and producer Karan Johar have finally shared the film’s title along with a heartwarming teaser.
The upcoming film is titled ‘Gehraiyaan’. In the teaser, two couples- Deepika and Dhairya, Ananya and Siddhant, can be seen dealing with their complex relationships. The teaser both begins and ends with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi kissing each other, while their partners, Ananya and Dhairya can be seen having emotional moments.
Karan Johar wrote in the caption, “It’s time to dive deep and find out what’s beneath just the surface.”

The film will have an OTT release. Gehraiyaan will have a world premiere on 25 Jan 2022 only on Amazon Prime Video.
Before the teaser release, Deepika shared a few monochrome pictures from the sets of the film. She wrote, “Yes…It has been a bit of a wait. But as the saying goes…Sometimes, the longer you wait for something, the more you appreciate it when it finally arrives! Hopefully, the same holds true here. I took the opportunity to be a part of something that I believe was truly magical. And with love in my heart and utmost gratitude, I cannot wait to share our labour of love with all of you…”
The film features Ananya Panday, Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur. It is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
