Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently became a target of the trolls and netizens after the actress shared her reaction on one of the Met Gala posts of Gangubai Kathiawadi actress Alia Bhatt. Here’s why-
For the unversed, Deepika Padukone was earlier accused by netizens of stealing the limelight from Alia Bhatt during her Met Gala after the Pathaan actress shared a bts video from here Oscars appearance. Following the same the actress got brutally criticized for being “insecure” of Alia Bhatt.
However, now Deepika is being targeted again by the netizens after the actress shared her reaction on Alia Bhatt’s Met Gala debut video. Taking to Instagram, Deepika dropped a comment on Alia’s recent Met Gala post, her comment read, “You did it!(heart emoji)”. Check out the post here-
However, following her comment, a segment of netizens came out to criticize the actress again stating it as “damage control”. A reddit user commented, “I feel like this purely damage control because of the backlash she got from her badly timed oscars post,”
Another user commented, “Yesss that’s why you wanted to steal Alia’s limelight so bad that you had to post about the Oscars again which you had shared so many pics already in March on your gram. Don’t be greedy for too much attention and fame that you stoop to that level. Live and let live.”

For the unversed, Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala debut this year, wearing Prabal Gurung’s white pearl gown. While Deepika Padukone on the other hand, had made several appearances on the Met Gala’s red carpet, however the actress decided to skip the event this year.
