Deepika Padukone-Vikrant Massey starer Chhapaak to release on 10 January 2020. The promotions for this film are going on in full swing.

Chhapaak is all set to release on 10 January 2020, owing to the fact that there only a few days left for the release Deepika Padukone and director Meghna Gulzar is leaving no cards unturned to promote their film.

Recently, this duo was seen at the Mumbai Airport as they headed towards Jaipur for further promotions. When the paparazzi came to know about this, they all gathered outside the airport to snap the gorgeous diva in their cameras. As soon as Deepika stepped outside the airport to walk towards her car, she got surrounded by the cameras. Their shutters went crazy while capturing the Chhapaak actress; all were calling her out to get her attention. It was when everyone was seeking Deepika’s attention someone amongst the paps addressed her as, “Deepuji”, and as he was very loud it did turn Deepika’s head around who calmly passed a smile to him. Afterward, when she was getting inside her car she asked the cameraman who addressed her as “Deepuji”, what is his name? To which he replied, “Pandey”, after hearing this Deepika jokingly called him, “Panduji” before driving away from the airport. Well, that was very sweet of Mastani.

Chhapaak is based on the real-life incident of Laxmi Agarwal who became a victim of acid attack back in 2005. It is a story of her struggle showcasing the turmoil she goes through while accepting herself with a new face, to even standing up to fight against the unjust done onto her. Deepika will be sharing the screen space with Vikrant Massey, who will portray the role of a social activist who will help Deepika’s character Malti in every way possible. Chhapaak also happens to be Deepika’s debut as a producer in the industry. During the trailer launch of Chhapaak in Mumbai, Deepika melted down in emotions and said, “no matter how many more characters I will portray on the big screen, this role of mine as Malti will always remain the most special amongst them all.” She further added that projects like Chhapaak are something she will like to commit her life to. The trailer has already done its magic now it’s time to see how this movie does on the big screen.
