Director Shakun Batra, the man behind many hits like “Kapoor and sons” “Ek Main Aur Ek Tu” finally broke his silence on his upcoming movie, title does which is still unknown. It casts Deepika and Siddhant along with Ananya Pandey, the Dharma Productions film was set to arrive in theatres on 12th February 2021. But that obviously didn’t happen due to the coronavirus pandemic. But with recent reports, the movie is about to be released digitally, which OTT platform? That the makers didn’t share!
The actors of the movie had shared many behind-the-scenes pictures on their Instagram recently, as they wrapped up the shoot of the film. Deepika has shared a video earlier giving a glimpse of the sets of the movie, Ananya was heard saying in the video, “We don’t want the film to end. We want us to be in this film forever”
Deepika captioned the post, “It’s a wrap (sic)!” She has also previously shared a cute picture from the sets, captioning “Love, Friendship and Memories for a Lifetime (sic).”
Ananya, who calls the movie ‘an unforgettable’ journey took to her Instagram to post fun pictures of the same.
“Blurry moments but my feelings for u all are crystal clear the best best best experience ever with a crew that felt more like family A film made with so much happiness, so many jokes, and just pure love – a set where I felt most comfortable in my own skin and felt truly accepted and liberated to explore (sic).” she wrote.
Upon being asked about his experience of working with Bollywood’s heartthrob Deepika, Siddhant had said “It was a very special experience you know because I’ve always been a fan of Deepika’s work and to get to share the screen with her and to romance her on-screen is something else. So I think I’m very lucky to have an opportunity to collaborate with Shakun and Dharma on this film with Deepika,”
Although more details about the movie are not known yet, Deepika had previously shared the plot of the movie.
She had further shared that the film belongs to the domestic noir genre and described it as something we haven’t seen in Hindi cinema before.
