On the occasion of Diwali and Laxmi Pooja , Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh surprised their fans by sharing the name of their laxmi (baby girl), Dua Padukone Singh. Dua was born on September 8, 2024 and has already filled her parents’ lives with joy. Deepika shared a sweet message on Instagram explaining their choice of the name “Dua”, which means “a prayer”. She added that they see her as the answer to their prayers.
Becoming parents is a big step for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Since their wedding in 2018, the couple has shared many special moments with fans. Ranveer, who had always dreamed of having a daughter who looks like Deepika, is now thrilled to have Dua in their lives. This new journey as parents brings the couple even closer.

Both Deepika and Ranveer have exciting projects ahead. Ranveer’s latest movie Singham Again features Deepika in a short role that has already gained attention. Deepika, who is currently on a break, plans to start her next project The Intern early next year.
