‘De De Pyaar De’ & ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ To Get Sequels? Find Out

Bollywood industry is currently at a standstill because of the nationwide lockdown due to the novel coronavirus outbreak but amid the crises, there is good news for the moviegoers. T-series head-honcho, Bhushan Kumar has hinted that two of his major Box Office hits ‘De De Pyaar De’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Sweety’ are all set to get sequels.

Confirming the same Bhushan Kumar said, “Yes, Luv Ranjan and I have a sequel in mind for De De Pyaar De. We are definitely doing Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, it’s a great franchise to take forward.” 

In the day and age where remakes and reboots have become an everyday thing, this news doesn’t come as a surprise. Now the thing to look forward is what plot will Luv Ranjan have in his mind while making the sequels of the Ajay Devgn and Kartik Aaryan starrer.

It will also be interesting to see if the star cast of both the films will remain the same or is Luv Ranjan and Bhushan Kumar thinking of making some changes.

Speaking of the ‘De De Pyaar De’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, the films former stared Ajay Devgn alongside Tabu and Rakulpreet Kaur while the latter starred Kartik Aaryan opposite Sunny Singh and Nushrath Bharucha.

Both the films were hailed by the audience even after receiving mixed reviews from the critics. The sequels of the film will be something everyone is looking forward to and we hope that it does better than its original.

During the interaction, Bhushan Kumar also revealed that the 10-day shooting of his upcoming venture Bhuj: The Pride of India starring Ajay Devgn is remaining and it will be resumed and completed once the pandemic subsides.

Kumar said, “Bhuj is looking good and since people want to see real cinema, we hope to live up to the expectations. But first, we need the pandemic to go away.”

The plot of the film Bhuj: The Pride of India revolves around the 1971 Indo-Pak war. In the film, Ajay Devgn essays the role of IAF Vijay Karnik. For the unversed, IAF Vijay Karnik was in-charge of the Bhuj Airport during the war. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Norah Fatehi and Sonakshi Sinha in pivotal roles.
