The biggest and most prominent multiplex movie chains in India including the PVR Cinemas, INOX and Cinepolis are all coming together for a very important reason which is celebrating 50 years of YRF Films this Diwali 2020. Also, this is indeed very interesting to know that through its 50 years marketing campaign strategy and initiative, YRF Films has actually joined their hands together in collaboration with the multiplexes chain and exhibition circuit as well in a bid and with strong hopes of gathering audiences and atleast 50 percent crowd of viewers and fans to the theatres in this festive season of Diwali as the sector is trying their level best to cope with the new normal post the unlock phase IV of COVID 19 pandemic in India.

Also after a lot of discussions all the involved multiplex chains have decided to keep the base ticket fare price for the films as only Rs 50 as YRF and the movie exhibitors want the people to come back to the theatres. Through the Yash Raj Films Big Screen Celebration initiative for marking the glorious 50 years of YRF, it has brought the biggest and top multiplex chains to come together in unity as a single entity under one roof with a collective aim to start over the theatrical business again.

On the same, Manan Mehta, Sr. VP Marketing and Merchandising said, “At YRF, audience delight sits at the centre of our universe and at the onset of our 50th year, we are stoked to begin the Big Screen Celebration initiative. Now audience can enjoy many of our classics and iconic movies on the big cinema screen and relive the experience of watching movies in the theatres”.

YRF’s iconic and timeless cult films like Kabhie Kabhie, Silsila, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai, Veer-Zaara, Bunty Aur Babli, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Ek Tha Tiger, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Band Baaja Baraat, Sultan, Mardaani, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, among many others will be screened as part of YRF Big Screen Celebration initiative across the country.

YRF Films official Instagram handle also took to their account and posted a picture to mark #YRF50 where their caption for the same read, “This Diwali, enjoy watching the biggest blockbusters on the big screen once again with YRF 50 Big Screen Celebrations across @pvrcinemas_official, @inoxmovies, and @cinepolisindia. #YRF50”.
