The most awaited film of 2020 turned out to be a digital box office dud. Yes we are talking about David Dhawan’s Coolie No 1 (Amazon Prime Video, December 2020) which is a remake of the cult comedy film Coolie No 1 that originally starred Govinda and Karisma in leading roles, where the new modern remake had Varun and Sara in leading roles which failed in impressing fans and audiences. During a recent interview, David spills on directing Varun’s kissing scenes in Coolie No 1.

Giving more insight on the professionalism followed in B town film industry, during his latest interview, ace and iconic film maker David spills on directing Varun’s kissing scenes in Coolie No 1.

Speaking more in detail about the same with a leading digital entertainment portal whilst his new interview, David specified that there is nothing weird or embarrassing since they all are professionals. Throwing more emphasis on it, David said, “There was nothing difficult about it because we are very professional people”.

When asked about shooting and working with his son Varun the second time in this film, David told, “When I am shooting with him, I don’t look at him or ask him whether we should do this or not. I tell him that this is to be done”.

Also speaking about directing Varun and Sara’s kissing scenes in Coolie No 1, the director asserted, “What’s There To Be Embarrassed About?”. Delving more into this point, David stated, “The script demands a kissing scene and so we have to do it. Practically, there is nothing wrong. Kissing scene is the lightest scene in the Indian films these days. It’s very fair when you are doing it professionally, you don’t look left, right, centre. Arre yaar mera beta karra hai, sharam aarai hai. Kaae ki sharam aarai hai?. There is no such thing. It’s all practical today. Now how the hero and the heroine do it is up to them”.
