Fans are eagerly waiting to see Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together on the big screen. The last time the two megastars were seen together was in Aanand L Rai’s Zero in a song, but a full-fledged film with the two came a long time back. Sometime back, rumours had it that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan would be seen working together in a film helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, but there was no official announcement about the same.
But recently Dabangg 3’s producer Nikhil Dwivedi, in a recent interview revealed that Shah Rukh and Salman almost came together for the film which was also supposed to be produced by Nikhil. Even Shah Rukh and Salman agreed to a film together, but as Sanjay Bhansali wasn’t too happy about the second half of the script and had to re-work on it. But in the meantime, Salman and the filmmaker also seemed to have some issue related to Inshallah, which in turn affected their reunion film.
Nikhil revealed, “Yes, it almost happened. Both SRK and SK had agreed to come together, we were excited about it. But I believe Mr Bhansali wasn’t very happy with the second half of the script and wanted more time to work on it.” On being asked if the project with Bhansali, Salman and SRK may happen in future, Nikhil sighed and stated that he doubts it would happen.
