Ribhu Dasgupta’s directorial Code Name Tiranga is now out in the theatres, the film stars Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra along with Punjabi singer Harrdy Sandhu and was released on 14th October. The film is an action thriller film featuring Parineeti Chopra as an undercover RAW agent named “Durga” who is on a mission when she meets Harrdy Sandhu who plays Ali Mirza in the film. The film shares a familiar plot with Alia Bhatt’s film Raazi.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Doctor G and Parineeti Chopra starrer Code Name Tiranga saw a clash at the box office. While Ayushmann’s film saw a decent start at the box office with a collection of approx 3 crores, Parineeti Chopra’s film, on the other hand, started off terribly low with a total first-day collection of mere ₹10-15 Lakhs. Despite low ticket prices the film couldn’t even manage to cross 50Lakhs on its opening day.
