The lead actors of the film including Sunny Deol and Dalquer Salmaan were highly praised for their performance in the film. While after a good opening the film has now maintained a steady pace at the box office and has minted a total of 70 Lakhs on Wednesday.

Sunny Deol, Dalquer Salmaan, Pooja Bhatt, and Shreya Dhanwanthary starrer R Balki’s film Chup was released on 23rd September. The film opened up to a good response and reviews from the audience. The film made good earnings at the box office on its opening day but witnessed a major drop on its first Monday.
As per an India Today report, R Balki’s film Chup collected a total of Rs 3.06 crore on opening day, the film collected a total of Rs 2.07 Crore and Rs 2.25 Crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively, with a total collection of approx Rs 7.38 Crore on the opening weekend. However the film witnessed a major drop on Monday, R Balki’s film somehow managed to get approx Rs 85 Lakh on 26th September. While keeping a steady pace the film earned a total of 70 Lakhs on Wednesday. The film now stands on a total of Rs 9.65 crores and is now expected to cross the 10cr mark soon.
