Choreographer Saroj Khan Hospitalised After Developing Breathing Issue

Choreographer Saroj Khan has been hospitalized after developing breathing issues. She also got tested for COVID-19. Read below for further details.

Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan has been admitted to the hospital after she complained about having trouble breathing. The latest reports claim that the 71-year old was immediately admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Mumbai on June 21.

However, due to the concerns surrounding coronavirus infection, a mandatory test was done following the protocol. The result has come out negative. As per the sources, Saro Khan is currently recovering and is doing well. She probably might get discharged from the hospital within a day or two following her health check-up.

An insider said, “She is fine now and recovering. She had breathing issues and was taken to hospital for that. Her COVID test was done which turned out negative. She doesn’t have any symptoms. She is likely to be discharged in a day or two.”

Speaking of Saroj Khan, she has a career span of 40 years as a choreographer, after starting her career at the age of 10. She has choreographed more than 2000 songs and is often regarded as ‘Masterji’. She has also received National Award three-times for the songs- Dola Re Dola from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, Ek Do Teen from Tehzaab and Yeh Ishq Haaye from Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor starrer Jab We Met. She last choreographed Tabaah Hogaye featuring Madhuri Dixit in the 2019 film Kalank.
