From television to Bollywood to OTT platforms actor Chandan K. Anand leaves no stone unturned for his fans to impress with his acting skills for the past two decades. While many actors have lately discussed their horrible experiences, very few performers have recently come up about their casting couch experiences, cementing the idea that predators hound everyone young and vulnerable. In a recent interview, the actor described one such incident.
Speaking with News18 Chandan discussed the casting couch experience. He recalled how it was once referred to as a compromise and related how a coordinator once requested his images so they could call him elsewhere. He said, “I have met one coordinator in my entire career. He said ‘you know na compromise karna padta hai.’ Maine kaha ‘yeh kya hota hai?’ He said ‘photo de do bulata hoon tumhe.’ I ran away from that coordinator’s office.”
He further added, “I think people with hidden agendas are all over the world. You have to stick to your values and principle and be strong. Nothing will happen till you have your last breath with you.”

He was most recent appearance was in the Netflix series Class, a translation of the popular Spanish series Elite. Ashim Ahluwalia directed the series, which debuted on February 2. Chandan was also part of many TV serials including, Durga Aur Charu, Barrister Babu, Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul, Meet, Jhansi Ki Rani, and Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kum, Anand has also had prominent roles.
