As a result of a recent event, Twitter deleted the legacy verified blue ticks from all accounts on Thursday. The only individual Twitter profiles with verified blue tick marks going forward are those who have subscribed to Twitter Blue, which apparently costs USD 8 per month via the web and USD 11 per month via in-app purchase on iOS and Android.
Twitter will no longer put a verifiable checkmark next to any account that Elon Musk identified before the company was acquired unless those accounts have a Twitter Blue or Twitter Verified Organisations subscription, according to some reports.
